OUR MISSION

You may know that women make up only 27% of Congress. But did you know that mothers with young children make up less than 10%? When moms are underrepresented, the voices and experiences of families are too often missing from the decisions that shape our children’s lives and our communities’ futures.

That’s why we founded Democratic Moms PAC, an affiliate of Moms Fed Up. We’re fed up with watching decisions that affect our children and grandchildren be made without fair representation from the people who know their needs firsthand. Moms bring valuable perspectives to public service, from education and health care to child care, economic security, and the future we’re building for the next generation.

Democratic Moms PAC is here to help change who has a seat at the table. We’ll support Democratic moms running for office at every level, from federal campaigns to state and local races. Decisions made by mayors, city councils, school boards, and state legislatures can have a direct impact on families’ everyday lives. By expanding our support into more local races, we can help moms lead and make a difference in the communities where they live.

We believe moms shouldn’t have to choose between raising their voices and seeking public office, and that our democracy is stronger when they can do both.

We’re ready to turn frustration into action and make sure moms are not just part of the conversation, but part of the decision-making.
